Decades ago, at the old B. Altman's on NY's 5th Avenue, got to watch Edith host a fashion show, half her classic costumes, half clothes made with her Butterick patterns. She signed a photo for me, commenting, "It doesn't look anything like me!" It looked EXACTLY like her!
