He is going to be such a good dad one day

I’m really bad about swallowing my pride and admitting when I’m wrong…but my self deprecation and self scolding is even worse and that’s something I’ve been working on since my teens to fix

I feel like in the past couple of days I’ve had some very real conversations with myself. It’s insecurities and shortcomings that I’ve pretty much known about my entire life, have been in too much denial to do anything about… the change is inevitable…it will happen

Maybe that’s why I try so hard at a job I don’t even like because I feel sometimes if I don’t work hard enough, I don’t deserve the things that I get with the money I earned from that job… maybe 2024 will be the year. I actually buckle down and go and see a therapist.

I’ve been making a conscious effort now over the past couple of years to try to be more spontaneous,try not to get so stuck in my ways and yet there’s certain things that I’ve never actually learned properly in my life.

So weird not having nightly text conversations with one of my friends from work, but the jet lag must be intense, so I'm holding off for the time being and also not tagging her so she doesn't get the notif at stupid o clock in the morning for her

I've been pretty good with avoiding spoilers for the new Stray Kids comeback, but goddammit, social media is making it really freaking hard

I'm so glad that every so often I decided to do things out of my comfort zone because it just shows how much that someone can grow as a person... a lot of people who know me in real life fail to realize that I am actually quite introverted

To be told by one of my friends that I act passive aggressive when presented with a job to do hurts me because that's just me thinking I've failed them and I want them to think better of me...maybe this is bringing to light something I've never addressed before...

God, I love being an introverted extrovert, because the extrovert part of me discovers that other people are interested in the same stuff that I am, but the introvert is always afraid to ask, lol

You know, it's amazing how sometimes just seeing someone can really throw you off... and I'm always one that believes that no one should have the power to make you have a off day...

Here's to 2025 creating a less toxic, less passive aggressive version of myself because I know I need to work on that and making sure I have clear boundaries set in certain aspects of my life
