Designed by HS Chopra, it was a brainchild of Dr MS Randhawa.
The Memorial was built in 1976 to commemorate the Battles of
~ Mudki (Dec 18, 1845)
~ Ferozeshah (Dec 21-22, 1845)
~ Sabraon (Feb 10, 1846)
~ Chellianwala (Jan 13, 1849)
