A week until our football festival raising money for club, activities, football matches and a great raffle with over 50 prizes

We held our U9s (Dynamos Cricket) festival today at Sutton Veny. It was fantastic to see so many young people playing cricket in the sunshine! Thanks to all the teams for taking part & our team of coaches/parent volunteers for making it happen 🏏💙💛🌞Wiltshire Cricket 🏏 #wiltscricket

Third year hosting our women's softball festival...and what a great day it was!🏏 Absolutely amazing to see over 50 women/girls of different ages and abilities at one venue taking part in cricket! 💕And the weather held off (dare I say it but it was actually quite warm!) 🌞

As always these events don't happen without all the help and once again we held our festival on Father's Day, so thank you to everyone (especially) the Dads that gave up their Sundays to score/umpire/BBQ for us 🙏

On Saturday, our league side recorded their second win of the season. 2 wickets apiece for Justin Wagstaff, Simon Grant & U15 debutant Sunny Curtis restricted Wroughton Wranglers to 210-8. In reply Ed Read (118*) & Simon Grant (51) saw us home for an 8 wicket win

Next Sunday we host Australia House at Sutton Veny. A game that celebrates the ties between the Village and Australia whilst remembering those who lost their lives in the Great War. Please join us. There will be a BBQ, music, children's cricket activities, bouncy castle & raffle

We're off the mark with our first league win! Posting 206, JT (76) & Eddie (57) provided a fantastic foundation with Dalbs (23) & Josh (40) also batting well. In reply Wilcot fell 16 runs short with Ed (4-13) & Dalbs (2-30) the pick. Great death bowling from Jamie too! 🏏💙💛
