It was the same when my career began in the 90s. All of us going broke cobbling together weeks of camp and extended care, trying to flex our hours for pickups… enlisting grandparents… and scheduling vacay the last weeks of Aug with everyone else because camps are done.

I spent a good part of my REM sleep last night strategizing about a friend's resume, professional summary & positioning, and had decided she needed a tight, graphic one-pager instead of a trad'l resume, in case you wonder how obsessed I am with getting it spot-on for my clients.
