God is particular about how we relate to Him, how we serve Him, especially concerning the assignments He gives to us. We must be keen to adhere to follow these patterns to the latter.

Our salvation cannot be dictated by our whims and impulses. There is a set standard in the word of God by which we must conduct ourselves. There is a way in which we ought to serve God.

Deviating from the set pattern derails God’s purpose and plan of redemption. The church becomes radar-less and powerless, and the centrality of the gospel of Christ is perverted.
