HMS Scott is currently alongside in South Carolina and has dressed ship to commemorate Presidents’ Day here in the US, popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present #GreatScott #PresidentsDay

After a few more weeks at sea, the ships company were lucky enough to witness an impressive rocket launch before coming alongside in Port Canaveral #GreatScott

Whilst alongside in Madeira, some of our ship’s company have visited and tended to the Commonwealth graves in Funchal. It was a peaceful day and an opportunity to pay our respects to sailors of the Royal and Merchant Navies, from the First and Second World Wars Commonwealth War Graves #GreatSCOTT

HMS SCOTT has completed a period conducting important trials, whilst also making time to enjoy life at sea, including whole ship sports and a weekend BBQ hosted by the Senior Rates #GreatScott

Yesterday HMS SCOTT was delighted to host the First Sea Lord’s Sea Cadets. They were able to experience life on board and witnessed a number of training serials, as well as getting some practice in themselves!

Today marks the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, Nelson’s stunning naval victory against the combined French and Spanish Fleets in 1805. The Wardroom of Scott celebrated the event at an excellent Mess Dinner at HMS Drake! #GreatScott

Today we welcomed onboard Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity to accept a cheque of £250 from the organisers of the Plymouth 10km run. The Royal Navy Running Team won the Team Prize back in May, and were glad to donate the money to this very worthy charity! #GreatScott
