Over the last couple of weeks PENZ has been up in the Inner Sound, North of Skye! In between Ops, Crew 1 took advantage of the weather to get some members ashore for a leg stretch and then up to Stornoway for the weekend to recoup! Royal Navy in Scotland

Last week ships company has been keeping their weapon handling in date. As standard practice, all watch keepers are to ensure they know how to handle an SA80 safely and confidently every 100 days. Marksmen all round. #BullsEye

Our final pilotage of OST out from HM Naval Base Clyde at the hands of an officer under training HMS Protector 🦅 last week, followed by the eagerly anticipated removal of the Safeguard Rule! ⚓️🇬🇧

Over the past two days we’ve made our way round the Mull of Kintyre, through the Sound of Islay and the Sound of Mull. Penzance is now looking forward to participating in Remembrance weekend in Oban representing the Royal Navy at the parade in town. Royal Navy in Scotland

We had the honour and privilege of taking part in the Oban Armistice Day Parade today. The Ship’s Company were honoured to form a central part of the parade to commemorate 100 years of the memorial in Oban.
