This morning, Royal British Legion officially opened this year's Field of Remembrance in #Gateshead .

Alongside representatives of the Armed Forces, personnel from HMS CALLIOPE joined veterans and their families, local dignitaries and the public to pay tribute to the fallen #lestweforget

The Maritime Reserves today welcome a new leader. The 3,270 men and women who give up their spare time to serve the #RoyalNavy will now be led by Commodore Jo Adey after she was passed the baton by Commodore Mel Robinson.
