Great day at the HIT Scotland conference seeing colleagues, talking about #YMusicMatters. Some important questions were raised about how we make music education more accessible for all. I also loved this quote from Vaughan Fleischfresser ⬇️

Many thanks to HIT Scotland for inviting me to give the keynote address at their conference once again. It was wonderful to share my thoughts and experiences with so many amazing educators.

Huge thanks to Improvement Service for compiling the annual report into music tuition in Scotland’s Local Authority schools once again. It is heartwarming that so many young people in our schools wish to explore learning through music.
