Wanaque Reservoir in Ringwood is a HUGE portion of the Highlands water supply system.NJ stops all development in the surrounding area to protect this water. Now we need the state to protect the towns that shoulder this burden by sending back more of our own money. Governor Mikie Sherrill

West Milford,1 of the towns most impacted by the Highlands Act,is 100% located within the preservation area & cannot develop any of its land.This places an ever increasing burden on its citizens.The benefit is for most of the state,the burden should not fall on a select few towns

This week, I made clear to the Education Commissioner that Jefferson Township's school funding gap is unfairly impacting our students. The state formula ignores the constraints created by the Highlands Act, and I'll keep pushing to ensure Jefferson gets the funding it deserves.
