This week in F2JS we have had an amazing time learning all about addition! Using the giant numicon to solve problems in the sun has been a definite highlight! Humbo Infant Maths

Free Writing Friday was wonderful! The children had such an amazing afternoon letting their creativity shine! I am so proud of our little authors. One child told the story of Amelia Earhart imagining she flew on a dragon instead of a plane. Astounding! Cressida Cowell thank you!

F2JS had an amazing time in the mobile planetarium today! We learnt all about the planets and even took a trip to the moon! We didn't meet any Martians, but it was still an out of this world adventure!

A fantastic day of maths in F2JS! The children have been challenging themselves to make patterns with greater and greater units of repeat. I even lost count at one point!

Today the children decided to use flowers to practise their pattern making skills!

My favourite superheroes writing about their favourite superheros!

F2 have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about Anansi the Spider. Today they began their Anansi artwork by using a watercolour resist technique🕷🎨. Mr Smith @HIA_MissPatel

A very busy day in F2JS today! We spent the morning hunting for insects, and followed that up by making some delicious summer salads! (hands were washed very carefully before preparing our food course!)

We're all very excited to move into our new classroom on Monday!

This morning we have built a barricade to trap the goblins in the woods and stop them from disturbing our teddy bear's picnic!

The Teddy bear's picnic was a resounding success! And I must say the biscuits were excellent!

So grateful for the time I got to spend with my wonderful children this year. Thank you for everything. I can't wait to see all of the amazing things you do in the future!

An amazing first day with my new class! We have been busy building, exploring and getting to know each other and our classroom rules. The children were so excited to see their new space, and settled in fantastically! Can't wait for tomorrow!

Some beautiful artwork was done today in F2 for Remeberance Day. The children have been talking about why it is important to remember things we have lost, and took part in a two minute silence to honour the people who gave their lives in service of our country.

Today in F2JS, we have been inspired by our adventure through The Foggy Foggy Forest to experiment with shadows and shillouettes.

F2 had an amazing time this week meeting some feathery friends! What an amazing way to learn about birds!

A big thank you to our Amazing Digital Leaders who came over today to teach F2 all about coding with the Beebots! The digital leaders did a fantastic job and the children loved it! Mr Hughes
