In 1986, I opened a concert with the beat of a drum Barbican Centre. My father is playing the piano and directing the youth orchestra my parents created. This Thursday, I’ll be performing Tavener’s Protecting Veil with Britten Sinfonia here nearly 40 years later!

We just had our 3rd Protecting Veil of the tour @barbicancentre. It was very special to see so many friends and Maryanna Tavener and her family. Thank you for your support! I can’t describe the feeling of playing this extraordinary piece. Next stop Dublin followed by Manchester.
