I went to Beeches Nursery today and found this Ficus carica x pumila. I'd heard of it but never seen one. Apparently it grows like a pumila, but is much larger.

First leaf on Ligularia japonica 'Chinese Dragon'.

One of my favourite Aspidistra. This is Aspidistra elatior 'Sekko Kan' which is an old Japanese selection. It is like a combination of 'Okame' and 'Asahi' as it has both the variegation as well as the white tips. #nationalcollection
