Today we had the traditional shirt signing at HGCSC. We had a farewell party in the hall and the students were fantastic! We wish them all luck for the summer and I'm sure their hard work will pay off when they collect their results!  Team HG

We had the absolutely pleasure of taking 39 Y10 Art students to London, yesterday, to visit The National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery . The students’ behaviour was exemplary - they did us proud! 💪🏼 🎨 🖼️ Team HG!

Today we awarded the very first winner of the Emmanuel Francis Outstanding Sports Award today. This will be an annual award that recognises sporting achievement, in memory of Manny who we sadly lost last year. Well done to Sofia, who demonstrates our school values every day!

Yesterday we had the new sexual health van in school along with some of the sexual health nurses from Royal Hallamshire Hospital. They provided sex education to students and advice around consent, contraception and how they can keep themselves safe.
