Before residency/COVID (because the two combined is all I know) I used to be so energized by medicine and advocacy. Now I’m looking around wondering how I ended up here in a pandemic perpetuated by pseudoscience and a war against women’s health freedoms… I am tired and lost

I have privileges my patients do not. Most do not have the ability to retreat from the issues they face. This is why it’s so important we continue to focus on increasing diversity in medicine. We also HAVE to reduce admin burden for our physicians and overhaul medical training.

Our system cannot survive another 10, 20, 50 years treating trainees like this and making healthcare a nightmare for patients (and providers) to navigate.
