On 21.04.1999, Serb forces loaded 16 men of the Mirena family onto a truck in Fushë Kosova. They were never again seen alive. Their remains were found in 2006 at Batajnica, a mass grave in Belgrade. As with many of Serbia's massacres in Kosova, no one has answered for this crime.

11 years ago today 🇽🇰 & Serbia signed an agrmt in 2013 consisting of 15 articles, the first 6 addressing the ASMM. The rest addressed other issues, articles that Serbia violated. The ASMM was detailed further in a 2015 argmt, subsequently struck down by the Constitutional Court.

At a time of open security threats to the region, Serbia is conducting a large military drill, including the testing of kamikaze drones, named 'Whirlwind 2024', near the Kosova border — another way it chooses to threaten the security and safety of the region and Europe.

25 yrs ago Serb forces killed 77 civilians in Paklek & Çikatova e Vjetër—incl. 25 children. 9 victims remain unaccounted for. In clear violation of our 2023 agrmt, Serbia refuses to open the archives of the 37th Motorized Brigade, perpetrators of numerous enforced disappearances.

In Poklek village (Drenicë) 25 years ago Serbian regime massacred 53 Albanian civilians, among them 24 kids.

After murduring, they came back and burned the bodies.

The house where this cruelty occurred has been turned into a museum.

No justice served yet.

A day after PACE voted in favor of 🇽🇰 membership in Council of Europe, Serbia retaliates against 🇽🇰 civilians. Since this morning, over 300 of our citizens—incl. children—have been arbitrarily detained at the border, deprived of food & medication. A gross violation of human rights!

The positive Opinion for 🇽🇰 membership in Council of Europe has just been approved by PACE

It recommends full membership, as a European state, without any added preconditions.

This strong democratic support is a clear call for 🇽🇰's full membership in May.
