HBPD Detectives have arrested suspect tied to March 16 gang-related shooting on Mandrell Dr. that left two injured. Sergio Mario Guevara, 38, was arrested near Beach & Warner, and booked for attempted murder. SWAT served search warrant on Slater Ave related to the investigation.

A missing elderly woman was struck and killed by a suspected DUI driver Saturday in Huntington Beach. The victim—85-year-old Caryl Margulies—was hit near Brookhurst & Crailet. The driver remained at the scene and was arrested. Full press release: bit.ly/hbPoliceDeptPR
