Son of sharecroppers. Howard graduate. Attorney. Legislator. None of these labels adequately describe this giant of a man who made us all so proud. I was honored that he joined us for our screening of BOSS at the Smithsonian’s NMAAHC earlier this year. Rest in peace, Elijah Cummings.
