We had a whole Boulder contingent at CommutingSolutions annual legislative breakfast this morning! We learned a lot from Governor Jared Polis, @FaithWinterCO, Guyleen Castriotta et al about the work to come on housing and transportation in the upcoming state leg session.

It’s good to start the day w/ Broomfield mayor Guyleen Castriotta & Broomfield Area Chamber to hear about the very positive state of the City of Broomfield & the Broomfield Chamber. Five Star Schools is proud to be contributing to the economic success of our community!

A group of us from the Northwest Mayors and Commissioners Coalition, RTD, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), & CommutingSolutions are in DC to advance a multi-modal transportation future for our region. We started today with a very successful meeting with the one and only Senator John Hickenlooper!

Along with mayors from northwest metro municipalities, I spent two days in Washington advocating for transportation funding. Had a great response to our RAISE grant for the Diagonal. Rep. After this morning’s terrible 303 Creative Supreme Court ruling, Boulder County came together at Longmont Pride to speak with one voice: discrimination and hate are not welcome here, and the LGTBQ+ community and its allies are united in solidarity. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It's always great when my friends and leaders from Colorado are in DC! I got to speak to city councilors, mayors, commissioners, and more this week about the incredible work they're doing on the ground and the $12 million in funding I just secured for local projects in #CO07.
