Jo is right. If this person is a student, he's the symptom of what's been going wrong in our university, not the cause. Academic freedom flourishes where students are taught the craft of good-faith, evidence-based rebuttal of arguments and expected to engage accordingly.

Interesting. Went back to read through NHS Confederation guidance that included advice to NHS Trusts to act unlawfully in response to some requests for single-sex care. Worst sections now taken out, but there is no note to say guidance been revised in light of fact it was badly wrong.
