Excellent data on why we need a new accountability system and visibility into academic data from our schools. You'd never know it by the info the state puts out unless you have an advanced degree and are an expert in data analysis.

Opinions on best way to move forward will vary, mine is below, but facts about where Virginia is on achievement and reporting honestly about should be a lot less of a jump ball. Achievement was declining pre-pandemic for predictable reasons. Let's get this right.
