Our 14th panel, “From Students to Employees (or Dropouts): Institutional Factors Influencing Employability in the UAE”, was joined by Dana Downey (NYU Abu Dhabi), Janaan Farhat (Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation), Sumaia Al Kohlani (جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة), and Kai Marcus Talvio (Sharjah Education Academy). #GCES2023
Panel 15, “Cognition, Connection, and Wellbeing: Examining Child, Adolescent, and Adult Growth and Development” was joined by ECAE’s Nahla Alsyedwaheed, Yusra Alsaedi, Claudine Habak, and Kay Gallagher; The University of Texas at Arlington’s Helen Abadzi; and AUC’s Ray Langsten and Fatma Khalek.
For our last panel of the day, “Ethics, Emotion, and Diversity in Education: A Gulf-Centered Perspective”, we welcomed Mohammed Al Sharija (د. محمد الشريكة) and Ali Al-Matari (جامعة الشرقية - A’ Sharqiyah University). #GCES2023
