A complete team work. Thanks to National Cancer Institute and all of my trainees, as well as my amazing collaborators, here and outside of Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology!! The goal of this grant is to advance our anti-GARP Ab to the clinics.

I’ll be talking about how host preconditioning augments T cell therapy ⁦Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer⁩ #SITC2024 new work by ⁦Megen Wittling⁩ as in her review and in her new JITC paper. ⁦⁦Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer⁩ ⁦Emory MSTP⁩ check out her poster.

Always an inspiration to hear Dr Stephanie Goff present on #TILs. We need to stop thinking about this as palliative therapy! TILs have the potential to CURE- complete responders from National Cancer Institute with 10 year melanoma-specific survival of 96%. Unmodified TILs are just a starting

THE (IMMUNOLOGICALLY) INVISIBLE MOUSE IS HERE! Forget about universal blood donor, this could be a universal organ donor! But what does it mean to be born and grow up with an immune system that doesn’t know what self looks like? #immunologymatters cell.com/iscience/fullt…

1. I feel like this is such obvious advice that it's taken for granted & so no one says this to young scientists but READ PAPERS, read all the papers. As you move up in your career you'll have a lot less time to do this. Read everything that appeals to you not just in your field

Great work from excellent scientists! I remember talking about this exciting project with Megen Wittling while I was finishing my PhD training! Glad to see this come out!
