Due to a severe thunderstorm warning, rangers have packed up a little early from the Hoskins Farm Site. Don't worry, though! We are still available at the visitor center until we close at 5 PM today. Stay safe and dry out there, everyone!

Rangers will be at the Hoskins Farm for the 12-Miler event today from 9 AM to 4 PM! Historical buildings will be open for guests. Tours of the site will start at the Visitor Center at 1:30 and 3:00 PM (weather permitting), and the Visitor Center is available from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

For #MemorialDay, we honor those who gave their lives for their country. The #Delaware #Monument, shown on the left, is the resting place of 3 Continental #soldiers who fought here in 1781— Cornelius Hagney, John Toland, and William Drew. We will share more throughout the day.

The #Continental #Army included around 755 #Black soldiers. 13 percent of all Black #soldiers in the army served in Maryland’s forces. While the #Maryland Monument is not a grave, it lets us reflect on the underrepresented voices of those who fought and died for the new country.

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park's Visitor Center building will now be open from 9 AM until 5 PM. The Tour Road and the bathrooms at Tour Stop Six will remain open from 8:30 AM until 5 PM. Park grounds remain available from dawn until dusk. #NPS #RecreateResponsibly

"How to Read a Monument" Program Saturday and Sunday, August 7-8, 2021 12 PM and 2 PM Tour Stop Eight For Nathanael Greene’s birthday, this 30 minute ranger-led program will examine monuments in the center of the battlefield. Learn to examine monuments and then create your own!

"Make a Monument" Program This Saturday, Oct. 30th from 1-3 p.m., kids of all ages are invited to join rangers in the visitor's center to design and construct their own monuments and to learn more about monuments and why they are important in telling stories of the past.

Tour Road Closure. The park's one way tour road will be closed to vehicles from 8/20 through 8/23 due to ongoing efforts to remove hazardous trees. The road is closed to vehicles but remains open to pedestrians on foot
