Attention current CCP students! Please submit a copy of your Spring semester schedule to Guidance ASAP!! If you need assistance with deciding which classes to take, please see your school counselor.

Seniors, as the semester concludes, please be mindful of all college application deadlines. If the school in which you applied requires a midyear report, it is your responsibility to contact Guidance to request a midyear report and midyear transcript to be sent to the schools.

Seniors~Please keep in mind that the guidance office is not open during winter break. Complete applications &request all required documents prior to break.Otherwise, any requests for transcripts or teacher & counselor recs during break, may not be processed until January.

It’s that time of year! Counselors will be presenting scheduling information for the 2019-2020 school year!! Students will receive course selection & graduation requirement worksheets during an assembly. The WHS Course Description Guide is avail now, on the Guid. website!

This Thursday, representatives from the Six District Compact will be showcasing the college and career programs to our freshmen and sophomores. Visitations to these programs will be scheduled in February. Permission forms to attend these visitations will be available on Thursday.

School Counselors are meeting with students during English classes to create course requests for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have questions about class offerings or program options, contact your counselor or check out the the Course Description Guide on the Guid website!

9th and 10 grade students had the opportunity today to talk with Ambassadors from the Six District Compact programs. Permission forms to attend field trips, with visitation dates, were given to interested students. These permission forms are due back to Guidance by January 28th!

Seniors! Local Scholarships will be available on the Guidance website tomorrow morning! Applications will be a combination of Google Forms and PDF applications.

Seniors! Local scholarships are available now! Visit the Guidance website and click on “Local Scholarships” to have access to these applications! A scholarship workshop will be held on March 12th during 11th period in the Auditeria to assist in this process!

Seniors, the list of students qualifying for Honors Diploma or Presidential of Excellence has been posted on the Guidance windows. These awards will be recognized at Senior Awards Ceremony & Graduation. Seniors should review these lists and see their counselor with any questions

Reminder: If you are considering taking a summer online course, the application and fee is due to the Guidance Office by Friday, May 10th. Applications are available in Guidance.

Reminder for 9th - 11th graders to sign up for the Oct 14th PSAT. $17 payment can be brought to the guidance office.
