Congratulations to James Shields (Yr 13) who represented Ulster Hockey u19s over the Easter break in a series against Wales. It was a series win with a 7-1 victory and two 1-1 draws. James rounded off a good team move with a goal in the first game. Well done, James! 👏 🏑

Congratulations to Caitlin Shields and Ellie Tohill (Yr 11) who recently represented Northern Ireland Women’s U15’s in the Bob Docherty Tournament. It was a fantastic experience which included defeats against Scotland and ROI and two draws against England. Well done, girls! 🦌 ⚽️

Congratulations to Stanley Rintoul, Jack Bailie, Euan Hanna, Karsten Close, Matthew Bailie and Joseph Rainey who won the U19 boys All Ireland Table Tennis Championships in Dublin yesterday! They faced very stiff competition from Blackrock College, Dublin but secured the win 5-3.

Congrats to all pupils in Y8 & Y9 who participated in the recent ‘UKMT Junior Maths Challenge’.   Special mention to the School’s four Gold Award winners: Lucas Dickson (8R), Emma Magowan (9R), Sam Young (9S) and Maia Ross (9E), who were each amongst the top 8% of participants.

Congrats to all pupils in Y8 & Y9 who participated in the recent ‘UKMT Junior Maths Challenge’.

Well done to Charlie Clegg, Y10, who recently received a Silver Award in the prestigious UKMT ‘Grey Kangaroo’ competition. Charlie qualified for this invitation-only challenge by merit of his fantastic performance in the Intermediate Maths Challenge, held earlier in the year.

Congrats to Reuben Walls, 8V, who excelled whilst representing N.I. in the Senior Home Nations Powerchair Football Tournament, held last weekend in Scotland. Reuben played superbly, scoring 4 goals and being named Player of the Tournament as N.I. finished in 3rd place overall.
