I’m still wrongly and incorrectly locked out of my Meta Facebook page, so I can’t check them out right now. Even our state attorney general’s office couldn’t get a real person there to contact me. They don’t listen and, more importantly, don’t care.

Not at this point, but we’ll have a better idea later tonight and early tomorrow when the new upper air data comes in.

(10:40am Sat) The arc you see in the approaching snow pattern indicates dry air aloft…snowflakes aloft are sublimating (“evaporating”) before reaching the ground. Need to saturate that air above to get snowflakes to survive the trip down to the ground. #miwx

Tomorrow morning obviously gives the road crews more time - but my experience having been out this morning (neither rain, snow, sleet, nor dread of night keeps me from my Sunday morning bagels), is that any roads already plowed and salted are in relatively good shape.

Yep…and that means a heavier snow to shovel. Those with heart, respiratory or other conditions should just give the neighborhood kid $20 to come over and shovel it for them.

(11:30am Sunday) Our next accumulating snow should be an entirely Monday night occurrence: starting after 9pm and ending by 7am Tuesday. Models are aligning with a general inch or two…perhaps a tad more far south, and less as you head north of I-69.
