First classic of the year was some shock to the body.. Even so, enjoyed racing with the GreenEDGE Cycling boys. Another chance tomorrow 👍

Finally feel like a human being again after coming down with illness in Paris-Nice. Looking forward to stretching the legs.

Trying to ease back into competition with a 2 minute evening effort. Since the Tour I’ve been out with a herniated disc, which has been OK for a few weeks in a controlled training environment. Time to see if how it handles racing.

We now agree that riders are free to associate in the way the want, meaning they can choose the Union that they feel best represents their interests. An important step towards #OneRiderOneVote (3/3)

Reminder of the deviation rule. ⤵️ Deviation + Danger = Relegation Deviation ✅ Danger? I don’t see it. This is easily one of the harshest applications of the deviation rule I’ve seen in a while. #RVV24

Why it’s a good idea: you can reduce speed when on tarmac with much lower risk of crashing than on cobbles. Crashes often occur from 20th backwards as the first riders slow down from entering the cobbles while further back you still enter at 60+. Hitting the brakes is a lottery.
