Here is an interesting monument in Lichfield cathedral. Dating from the 18thc. 1st what a strange crest, what sort of insect is it meant to be? Three more are on the arms themselves. Then the surname, Bassano- it sounds like a Shakespeare villian. Not a common staffs name.
