Can you "Guess" what we played today using foot dribbling? I used another classic game (Guess Who) to create a fairly universal game model to work on many skills. This is a great way to celebrate differences among your students and make them feel seen. #PhysEd #elempe #SEL

Today we took flight. We ended our #parkour week with a trip to the airport and launch pads. Something about flying through the air brings #joy. I couldn't believe how creative things got with each group. #PhysEd #Elempe

It's moments like this that keep me coming back. In a "fun" follow up to a marathon 2 weeks prior. It was hot and humid. I took the lead at 23 but conceded to cramps at 25 and a distant 2nd. I marked my calendar and a year later took the tape by 14minutes. #motivation

It's race week and that means finalizing the plan(s). 100 miles can be daunting and scary. Nothing is guaranteed in #ultrarunning. You will hurt, get lost, fall down, and have a wild ride. Just #keepmoving until you think you can't. Then take another step.

2 days before the race they change everything from the start/finish to aid stations and distances between them. Meanwhile, I'm at urgent care for a sinus infection. This is what an #ultra is. It's not just a run, it's logistics, planning, and then blowing it all up. #MOS100

Ahead of record pace by nearly 3 hours, nearly setting the 100k course record, technically winning the 100k by over an hour, only days after being told to get an mri...I stopped to prevent further damage. Thank you for the love and support. Real recovery starts today. #grateful

#physed #elempe #meaningfulpe I could but why? For over 10 years I ran over 3 miles a day. I could tell you about the wins and records but that's not what bright me joy. It was the challenge. Today is not an end to a streak but a beginning to a new challenge. #staytuned

Talk about a perspective change! Luckily, I already teach some #DAPE. So modifications weren't too difficult to come up with. Using a combo of wheelchair and crutches have me a tiny blip of what my students face daily. #keepmoving

Simple yet super functional. Building confidence and balance at the same time. I used the whirly bird swing with a circular balance board. This gave choices of balancing, swinging, spinning, or a combination. The result was 100% participation from a reluctant student. #dape

Yard work, the original #crossfire Main difference, yard work is more productive. Moved 26 tons of dirt today!

A set of torn achilles tendons and some fluid won't stop this project. Just shy of 30 tons of dirt were moved this weekend. This part of the future garage wall will connect over 200ft of retaining walls. I still can't believe we're at this point. #keepgoing
