Diabetes Awareness Week @AMSRockets was a big success. Support and spirit shown in all grade levels, a sea of blue on Thursday, $230 raised for Juvenile Diabetes Foundation on Friday. Special thanks to Maeve, Owen and Nurse Walsh...and I finally got the blue out of my hair!

Word of the Month @AMSRockets is Empathy. Our awesome cafeteria staff chose to contribute to annual Toy Drive instead of exchanging gifts with one another. They set a great example for the students (and the food's good, too)!

The race for the @AMSRockets House Cup heated up this week during our 2nd annual February Festivus and Spirit Week. Wed. was decades day and the 50s, 60s and 80s were all well represented! So much fun!

The main @AMSRockets February Festivus competition included Hungry, Hungry Hippos and an epic rock, paper, scissors hula hoop battle. Congrats to all teams, but especially Grade 6 Sapphire Team for coming out on top.
