This world of ours is only getting stranger and stranger. I guess the thing to remember is that there’s nothing anybody can do to keep you from being you and true to your values.

If the story is true and the other guy said what he said to the mom, I kinda think more of the player, not less.

I kinda miss the old Cold War Olympics, when the world was a bit bigger and we knew far less about lands far away. But this is cool.

Associating with and supporting people after you know who they are is a serious breach and an insult to victims. May the Epstein files show those who remained loyal to Graham James just how awful they are.

As with Epstein, there are people who remained loyal to Graham James long after it was known who Graham really was, including people who were honoured and who rose to the highest level. They did, and do, their best to discredit, shift blame, or outright deny. Shame on them.

I like the Olympics just like as a kid I liked the Eurovision Song Contest, Monty Python, old movies, the Grey Cup, and election night coverage listing the names of far-off ridings: they all made the world seem bigger while spurring wonder and imagination.
