In assemblies today, we remembered why today is #StephenLawrenceDay. We learned about his life and legacy and thought about what we would like our own legacies to be. This is going to be part of a whole school project inspired by Stephen and the work of his family. 🧡

Year 2 St Paul’s class have been learning about some significant people from our local area for #LocalHistoryMonth, including Bob Hope, Quentin Blake, Dina Asher-Smith and Boy George. The children then decided how they’d like to create their own famous legacies!

I went down to Early Years yesterday saw this! Like the rest of the school, they’ve been learning about the Windrush generation. Absolutely brilliant that our staff (inc governors) are completing Hemisphere training from @Rare_London to disrupt our biases and improve our racial literacy. I introduced it today after talking about the school’s response to the riots; this work has never been more important.
