Good drainage is key, so investment cant stop. A system about to go in at home. We are finding the original hand dug system, some 9 feet deep. Dug every 10 yards across most of the farm, incredible. A grant for drainage repairs would help keep soils healthy. #scotgov NFU Scotland

After our purchase of the Valtra kit at LAMMA from UTV products, everything will look like it's done in daylight. Worklights were easy to fit, headlights, and sidelights Harry wired in. We are now full power LED on the Valtra N175D. Great worklights are always a good idea.

We installed our Enduramaxx rainwater harvester tank from Agrii this weekend, that stopped the rain falling. Hoping to fill the sprayer from it this year to save some metered water. Fits perfectly between the two sheds and hopefully that will keep it topped up. NFU Scotland

During some contract barley sowing in Ancrum I managed to catch my My Name'5 Doddie Foundation tractor and the fantastic looking bus in the same picture. Nice wave from one of the kids on it kept me cheerful in the sunshine.

A whole morning, well spent. Prepping qthe drill for an inspection and phytosanitary certificate before it goes to its new home. Big week on the cards if all goes to plan. SASA, SGRPID and UK customs have all been really helpful and have made this learning process manageable.
