Here at LSTM we think outside the box when reusing packaging materials. Some companies now use straw for cold deliveries, which double up as lovey cozy mattresses for Percy and Gabe the guinea pigs!

In the UK we throw away approximately 100 billion pieces of plastic each year!

It is with great sadness that LSTM acknowledges the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, announced by the Buckingham Palace today, after 70 years of dedicated service.
We would like to join the nation in offering our condolences to the Royal Family.

I heard that the full annual energy bill for Imperial College London is expected to be £20 Million more than usual this coming year.😮 Can someone tell leadership that running deep freezers at -70C saves 25% of the energy of running at -80C? We have hundreds of these on campus.

A big thank you to everyone for plant-swapping 🪴, bike-fixing 🚴‍♂️ and litter-picking🗑 among many other activities and making LSTM Green Week at the end of May a success!
