The 34th Masonic District donated $6,000 to the Greene County Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program on Wednesday. The $6,000 will pay for at least one year’s worth of D.A.R.E. program teaching materials. No taxpayer money is used for the program; only donations.

Greene County Commissioners attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Buc-ee's Beaver Tuesday afternoon. The 53,000 square-foot, 100-pump convenience store will open at 3284 N. Mulroy Road off of I-44 in east Springfield. Buc-ee’s is targeting December of 2023 for its opening.
