Really useful discussion tonight on the future of the Cathedral Quarter. Green Party NI will continue to push for regeneration with community at its core.
Green leader Seanadóir Mal O’Hara (he/him) discussing the recent lack of NI executive programme for government commitments around active travel. The Green Party believes we need to invest more in active travel and public services in Northern Ireland, particularly new bus and rail routes & cycling.
Fantastic day and community carnival on the Cregagh and Woodstock Rds. Community Together Belfast doing great work in the area, alongside independent traders.
Fantastic CC Dog Rescue Annual Conference today talking about collaboration & policy change. Welcome talks from Battersea and Dogs Trust 💛🐶 NI & others from the sector recognising interconnectedness of animals & human welfare. Brill to met Sean Wensley too, whose book I loved!

I spoke with BBC Newsline earlier on the new & expanded Needle Exchange facility from Extern Charity who do incredible work. As Greens our message is consistent, Belfast City Centre needs an Overdose Prevention Facility. Save lives, improve collective community safety
