Big local story, Glos County Cllr Sue Williams has defected to The Green Party - this moves the council from Tory run to NOC.

This is the 2nd cllr to defect to Stroud District Green Party in a year (Helen Fenton, former Labour District cllr for Chalford joined us earlier this year).

Amazing news to have Cllr Sue Williams join our Green Team. We will be able to get a lot more done for Painswick and Upton ward now that we have 3 Green District Councillors working hand in hand with a Green County Councillor!

Imagine arguing new homes shouldn't bother with:
-insulation (lower bills)
-electric car chargers (lower bills)
-biodiversity plans (fu nature)
-water quality plans (yay pollution!)
-affordable home requirements (what affordability crisis?)
-2nd staircase for fires (seems fine)
