Over 30 Districts in Uganda are experiencing the re-emergence of tsetse flies with
Over 6.3 million of the cattle population living under the threat & challenge of tsetse flies.

Tsetse fly prevalence levels require control,if not contained pose a threat to production & tourism

Earlier today, l launched the Tsetse & Trypanosomiasis Taskforce for the containment of tsetse and trypanosomiasis.

The 13 member Taskforce comprises scientists that will develop a containment strategy & also mobilize resources for the elimination of tsetse & trypanosomiasis.
