Last night I saw Small Acts of Love at the newly reopened Citizens Theatre — a powerful, moving play about the compassion shown by the people of Lockerbie after the Pan Am 103 tragedy. Devastating, hopeful, and beautifully performed. Highly recommended.

Last night, I finally watched Rebel Dykes, a powerful documentary tracing the journey of a tight-knit group of friends who first met in the 1980s at the Greenham Common peace camp and later became artists, musicians, performers, and activists in 1980s London. Highly recommend.

Took the kids to explore the hauntingly beautiful ruins of St Peter’s Seminary near Cardross yesterday. Once a Roman Catholic seminary designed by Gillespie, Kidd & Coia, it’s now a modernist relic — described by Docomomo International as a “building of world significance.”

Timeline 47: In 2007, Gray met Sorcha Dallas Gray, who revived interest in his visual art. She curated key shows, led major commissions, and founded The Alasdair Gray Archive—ensuring his legacy remains vibrant and widely celebrated.
