We are excited to report the results from the first phase of the GRAVITY+ upgrade, GRAVITY-Wide! This part of the upgrade expands the sky coverage of the instrument by two 👏 orders 👏of 👏magnitude. For details see this new paper led by Antonia Drescher: arxiv.org/abs/2206.00684

More magic with GRAVITY - the first direct image of HD 206893c! the planet was originally identified by RV and astrometry. With brightness + mass , it's possible to directly test planet formation models -- and there are already some surprises! arxiv.org/abs/2208.04867

A bit behind due to moving, but I wanted to share two new papers from the last week that I worked on (lead authors not on this bird app): a new directly imaged planet with ExoGRAVITY and an in-depth atmospheric retrieval at high spectral resolution with KPIC!

The last boxes for the GRAVITY+ adaptive optics have left Europe, and the first ones have been unpacked in front of Paranal's new integration hall. Stay tuned for a summer of integration and verification!
