A great visitor to have in school for so many reasons. Pupils Edlington Victoria loved it.

This is great. But imagine how brilliant it would be if we had more staff with disabilities in our schools. It’s the best way to normalise differences. To my knowledge (and I hope I’m wrong) we have only one headteacher who is a wheelchair user in England. That’s not good enough

Popped into the resurrected Old Library on Skircoat Green Road for a nice coffee and a slice of cake. Run by volunteers now and pleased to have donated a set of books. Do support it if you’re local!

I posted this 11 yrs ago today. “Piece Hall Halifax. A beautiful open space surrounded by fantastic architecture. A sunny Friday during the Easter holidays and the local council have put on..... nothing. Just a desolate burger van. What a waste”.

Being accustomed to pain is a strange thing. Yesterday it was off the scale. I was screaming in agony and in bed by 6pm wondering why I carry on. Today I’d say it was level 9/10 and it feels great. Ridiculous. I’d wager most people would be crying right now.
