Update from the Forest Service, ARP re #DevilsThumbFire: Size updated to 74 acres, containment remains at 30%. With today’s warmer weather, we expect fire activity on the east flank, and subsequent smoke, visible from #US40. THERE IS NO IMMEDIATE THREAT; crews are monitoring the area.

US 40 Berthoud Pass planned safety closure 11 p.m. Saturday (2/3) to 5:30 a.m. Sunday (2/4). Due to heavy snow and low visibility, a safety closure will be necessary so that crews can conduct winter maintenance operations. Go to COtrip.org for the latest updates.
