Food in Singapore is really good. Even bland Singapore food is amazing and religiously godly good. I am talking about the fishball Kuey Tiaw soup. The local fish soup. Even Yong Tau Hu with Soup. Even bland foods are amazing in SG, I am so happy, I just cannot even.

I do not think Singaporeans even appreciate what they got. They got it GOOD. USD$4 gets them a god-tier meal that is made from scratch and truly amazing? Holy shit.

I have been taking these epic craps ever since I returned to my island home of Singapore. I think it's because of the quality of the produce - the vegetables and fruits are really tasty and fresh.

We went to buy eggs today. Mom got these Omega 6 eggs - you know the nice ones with the orange yolk. It's about USD$3 for a dozen and get this - the cashier said it is Buy 1 Get 1 Free, and personally grabbed another dozen for my mom.

Singaporeans are so super nice. I am so happy I came home and I am so proud to be a super nice Singaporean. I was super nice when I was in the US and the UK, except when peope fuck with me, obviously. Then I go into "Don't fuck with me I'm an Evil Asian" mode. That's normal.

Duck rice and duck porridge. This is s-tier good. Our Singaporean hawkers are super heroes. They should probably wear capes, but it is too humid for that over here.

After living in LA for 30 years, I feel like such a country yokel when I return to a Singapore 😂. It's such an overwhelming city - everything is so slick, cosmopolitan, high tech and efficient. LA feels like a suburban bedroom community compared to (waves hand)...this.

Singapore living is so plush, so efficient, so harmonious, so green and so futuristic - I cannot imagine moving back to the US anymore. This is a young immigrant nation bursting with optimism and the desire to innovate. The US and the UK feels so…frumpy and mid.

My body has acclimated to the humid tropics. 84° day = nice weather, not too hot. 75° morning = pleasantly chilly. I spend the day without AC. I run the AC at 79° at night or Dry Mode. I am a local now.

Since returning home, I have lost weight in the most boring imaginable way - just eating normally and going about my new life. It is slow and steady. I was happy with my heavier self and I am happy with my lighter self. Everything is chill and chill is good.
