Alabama is the future of flight. Here we develop cutting-edge technology, offer aviation education programs and we’re home to the powerful F-35 fighter jets. Flight began in Alabama, and it will continue to make its advancements here at home. Happy #NationalAviationDay!

I joined for the pier dedication ceremony to remember my friend, James “Big Daddy” Lawler. A true champion for outdoor recreation throughout Alabama’s Black Belt, there’s no better way to honor his legacy than with his name now present at Roland Cooper State Park. #alpolitics

While in my hometown of Camden this morning, I paid a visit to the fourth, fifth and sixth graders at J.E. Hobbs Elementary. I told them they have the potential to make a mighty difference in the world — they just have to stay focused and keep working hard! #alpolitics

I rounded out my day in Wilcox County with a visit to ABC Elementary to deliver books to students and discuss the importance of learning. Boy, were they eager to open their books to get started reading! I couldn’t be prouder. #alpolitics

Some friends from Alabama’s 14 public colleges & universities paid a visit to the State Capitol today to help me proclaim College Colors Day in Alabama. On August 30, I want everyone to proudly sport their collegiate colors. Y’all already know what I’ll have on! 🧡💙 #alpolitics

Yesterday, I was at Athens State to give the Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce an Alabama update. We’ve made great progress — broken records even — in economic development, education and infrastructure. We will continue to work to make Alabama the best it can be. #alpolitics

This afternoon, I was in Jasper to cut the ribbon on the new bridge just over State Route 69! Investing in our infrastructure across the entire state creates a better future for all Alabamians, and we remain committed to continuing to rebuild Alabama. #alpolitics

I kicked off the Alabama #CogniaIMPACT2024 Conference by discussing the measures we are taking to ensure all Alabama students receive the best possible education. Our work isn’t done, but we’ve made great progress on all fronts to transform education here at home. #alpolitics
