The passing of Michael Aron marks the end of an era. Michael was smart, scrupulously prepared and always on a hunt for the truth. He covered me and my team for 15 years as US Attorney and Governor. He did so without fear or favor. His eyes never blinked watching us. He was a pro.

The news this morning on Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau is simply heartbreaking. Johnny was a New Jersey legend—so much so that when I went on a Canadian trade mission as Governor I was given a Flames Gaudreau jersey. He was NJ. Our heart goes out to the Gaudreau family. Simply awful.
