Tomorrow's forecast is a likley challenge in temperature everywhere with frozen sufaces.. . the volunteers will do their utmost to make it possible and deliver a safe route...and for those that can remember so far back..we have a beach option, only if the paths are not so good

Just look at the preparation that went into that. Thank you to every runner that showed up, ran and enjoyed it. Massive thank you to the marshals who went above and beyond to make this event go ahead by salting, checking and running the course. Top work everyone 👏

Good morning runners, we have just inspected both ends of route.There is a light dusting of frost but also a lovely sunrise. Salting has been very effective so we're confident that GC parkrun will go ahead. Thank you and see you soon.

we are already looking forward to your return...no need to bring sunshine, as it usually shines here, regardless, do remember that all milestones usually get a mention (at the start) and post event we normally celebrate with Tea and Cake...us runners do like a Cake or 2:)
