This is weak mentality because it’s that instance where people put themself in a no lose situation. If they beat City then it will be all positives: “We’re back, Ange is taking us to the CL, COYS!” If they lose then it’s “We wanted to lose so Arsenal don’t win the title!” Weak.

Good to see someone else bring this up. 2022 was an absolute shambolic penalty decision. If Spurs are unhappy about a few decisions from yesterday then this is definitely a case of things evening themselves out.

Incredible that in the space of six days we have played Spurs and Chelsea, not performed anywhere near our best (IMO), but come out with a 5-0 spanking of Chelsea and a hard fought 3-2 win over Spurs.

Imagine if we had played well… 👀

Kai Havertz is perfect for us. Imagine if we got a midfielder like everyone wanted and had to rely on Jesus during the run in🤣

Imagine if we got transition merchant Isak who injures himself for 3 months each season and avoids duels

We got our selfless warrior beast Kai

Tottenham fans?

What would you do if you had the opportunity to win your game against City and secure a Champions League spot, but it meant giving the title to Arsenal

Why are there so many people worried about tomorrow…🤷. Surely this is what we want isn’t it, to be in a position at the end of the season where we’re in the mix. I’ll take this every time over being 25 points off the pace with eight games to go!

We’re back, it’s exciting and

Aaron Catterson-Reid I honestly think the only inexcusable dropped points this season, as an overall performance was Fulham at home. Villa we’ve seen are a good side, WHU at home was a freak game, and spurs and Chelsea draws, we conceded flukey, unlucky goals

Gooners need to be frustrated with this. The league could come down to goal difference… 4-1 instead of 4-0 would still have been significant for us.

So they’ve gone from going for a quadruple, to winning ‘just’ a Carabao Cup but being called overachievers?

They aren’t even out of the title race yet… 🤔

Arsenal’s highest ever Premier League points totals:

90 - 2003/04 (invincibles)

87 - 2001/02

84 - 2022/23

This season we are on 77 with 4 games to go, yet some fans (a very vocal minority) call for Arteta out?

Give your heads a wobble ffs

People I don’t want to be that guy but if Liverpool beat West Ham and we lose to Spurs we’re level on points. People are getting well carried away again, we were the same when Liverpool lost to Palace, let’s stay humble and see what happens 🔴⚪️

Jurgen, Gabriel literally couldn’t get in the team for four games at the start of the season! Mikel chose not to play him! So no, he hasn’t played every game…

The mad thing is that we COULD finish the season winning 16 of our final 18 games, as the highest scoring team, with the tightest defence, the best goal difference… and still not win the league. The standard is just ridiculously high.

This guy frustrated me for the first 57 mins as he was so dangerous but his decision making was poor at the crucial moments. But that first goal was fantastic and then a smart finish for his second. Hes becoming one of our most important players. Loved that he celebrated as well!

have had so many talented midfielders over the years, but few have embodied the ambitions of the club and married them with the technical values on the field in the way Martin Ødegaard does. Every time he pulls on a red shirt, he gives everything. A proper captain.

Would be interesting to see if the linesman would have given that with no VAR. It’s tight but it’s offside. You can they that VAR has robbed Coventry and the FA Cup of a historic moment but if it wasn’t in use the linesman may have given it live 🤷

We’ll never know.
