Austin Eckroat says he walked a mile and a half to the course this morning after he hit traffic and no vehicles were being let into the course.

The Mayor of Louisville and the Governor of Kentucky are currently on property at Valhalla for the PGA Championship.

ESPN+ just reported that the owner of Valhalla Golf Club is the one who picked Scottie up from jail and drove him to the course

Scottie Scheffler just arrived at the Valhalla clubhouse at 9:11 a.m., 57 minutes before his tee time.

He added that the police officers had no idea who Scheffler was. One police officer went up to Darlington and said, 'Can you tell me the name of the person we just arrested?'

According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington he was told by police as he approached vehicle: “there’s nothing you can do, he’s going to jail..,” as Scheffler was trying to get into club around traffic jam caused by fatal car accident

.Jeff Darlington said on SportsCenter just now the Scheffler in handcuffs situation moved 'very quickly, very rapidly, very aggressively' and that at one point Scheffler, who was with the police at the time, looked at Darlington -- who was also entering the property -- and said

For years I listened to Lance Ringler talk about this idea he had to bring an NIT-like experience to college golf. He made it happen with the NGI. For many, it’s their first opportunity to play college golf in May. Ringler, you created something these players won’t forget! 👏🏻

There's so much to love about the Mizuho and the stars who are playing well right now that I'm bummed it will be lost during a men's major. Scheduling always a struggle for the women's game.
